You don't need another journal that asks you to name three things you're grateful for while you're sitting on the kitchen floor feeling like a hot mess.
You need somewhere real to let it all out.
The rage. The grief. The exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix.
This journal was built for those days when you don’t want to be ‘grateful’, you want to be real, and honest, and say “this is really fricking hard and today I'm not ok!”.
Midlife has a way of changing everything.
You may find yourself feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, more emotional than you've ever been, or strangely disconnected from yourself.
Things you used to tolerate suddenly feel impossible.
Your patience is shorter. Your emotions feel bigger.
Or perhaps you've gone the other way and feel completely numb.
You might even find yourself wondering: "What's wrong with me?"
You may feel like you're losing yourself.
Like you don't quite recognise the woman you've become.
But what if you're not losing yourself?
What if you're finding your way back to the parts of yourself that got buried beneath years of responsibilities, expectations, people-pleasing and survival?
Most journals are designed for the good days.
The ones where you wake up feeling motivated, clear, ready to set intentions and write your morning pages while sipping tea and becoming the woman you're trying to be.
But midlife doesn't always give you many of those days.
Not right now anyway.
Right now you're more likely to be running on broken sleep, holding everyone else together, swallowing emotions you don't have time to feel, and quietly wondering whether something is genuinely wrong with you.
Nothing is wrong with you but these thoughts and feelings do need somewhere to go.
That's what this journal is for.
This journal doesn't ask you to be grateful, it asks you to be honest.
The Midlife Real & Raw Journal is built around my Restore → Release → Reclaim framework - the same methodology that underpins my workshops, programmes and wider work with women in midlife.
But this isn't a linear journey, you don't have to start at the beginning, and you definitely don't have to do it perfectly.
Pick it up on the hard days, use the section that calls to you, put it down when you need to.
Before you can release anything, you need to feel safe enough to be honest.
This section meets you exactly where you are.
There is no pressure to feel better yet, no silver linings required, just simple nervous system support tools, gentle grounding exercises, and honest prompts that ask only one thing: The truth.
This is where you let it all move.
The anger. The resentment. The grief. The frustration.
The things you can't say out loud.
The emotions you've been swallowing for years because you're the strong one, the capable one, the one who holds everything together.
This section gives all of it somewhere to go.
Rant pages. Unsent letters. Raw check-ins.
No filter. No judgement. Just space.
Because if it doesn't come out on the page, it'll probably come out as road rage.
This is where you find your way back to yourself.
Not the performing version, the people-pleasing version, not the survival version.
The real one.
The woman underneath all the roles, responsibilities and expectations.
This is where you meet her.

If these pages open something up in you...

I want you to know there's more support available.
My work goes much deeper than prompts on a page.
And if you're ready for that next step, I'd love to meet you there, take a look at my Work with me page for more details on my upcoming events and workshops, or follow me on facebook @themidliferevolution
But most importantly, let's keep it real.
